Festive & Wedding Style Saree Designs - Thread Sutra

Perfect Festival Wear Saree Collection

Wedding is one such tempting and grand occasion which involves celebration at a grand level. The perfect union of two loved ones and their family results in king size commemoration with your loved ones and dear ones. This huge event is therefore remarked by a lot of outfit and costume shopping to rock the night at each event. In India, the staple wear during the wedding season is anarkali suits or wedding sarees. Anarkalis can be worn on a smaller event like roka(engagement) but saree can be styled at both reception and the Wedding day. Wedding style saree designs include a lot of variety, depending on how simple or how heavy you want your look to be. The two variants of saree include unstitched and stitched that is, unstitched is the regular one whereas stitched one included the pleats and pallu already stitched. The latter one has been specially designed for those who do not know how to drape a saree and also because stitched sarees look more sleek and well fitted. Weddings in India is a three to four day event which is why we bring you a different attire for each day. Starting from the occasion of engagement, you can go for a churidar or patiala suit to keep it bold and simple at the same time. If you're the bride you should opt for a beautiful embellished saree. The saree can be in a pastel shade so that it doesn't seem to loud. The embellishment should be should on the borders and for the blouse go for a more girlish style like sleeveless or maybe a cold shouldered one. The next day is the mehendi ceremony and yellow is the perfect color for the brides. The rest can opt for a stylish trouser suits or even kurta and palazzo pants with slits on either side.

Mehendi and haldi day becomes messy at the end which is why I recommend to keep the look minimalistic, easy to carry and of course stylish. The next day is the festival ceremony. This involves merry making with all your loved ones and this is usually celebrated by the bride's family on the note of the girl leaving her parents soon. The festival dresses need not to be extremely heavy, like the wedding day wear but it still requires heavy embellishments to keep that spark alive. Festival day can be styled by wearing anything, say a saree or an anarkali suit. The bride can opt for a lehenga choli but my personal choice would be a more modern and recent version of it which the the crop top and long skirt version. This looks very similar to the lehenga choli style but it's modern silhouettes make it unique and different. On the big wedding day, for the closest relatives and friends, I would suggest to wear a net, silk or chiffon saree with a designer blouse. Also, keep in mind that either the blouse should be heavily embellished or the saree. Both of them being heavy would just create a bad combination and might spoil the whole look. You can choose to wear gorgeous matching earrings and bangles. A potli bag or a boho clutch would be perfect to complete the look. The bride should't opt for anything else but a heavy lehenga with a designer dupatta. You can choose from the bollywood collection of our website which comes straight away from the designer's hub to make your day perfect. You can explore Eid Dresses also from the house of Thread Sutra.
